[NEWS] Billlie’s SIYOON To Make Her Hollywood Debut In ‘Perfect Girl’

SIYOON of Billlie is poised for global success. After Billlie’s group appearance on the Apple TV+ Show KPOPPED, SIYOON is taking her first steps into Hollywood alongside actors Arden Cho (KPop Demon Hunters) and Adeline Rudolph (Mortal Kombat II).

SIYOON of MYSTIC STORY’s K-Pop girl group Billlie, is making her first film appearance in the upcoming movie ‘Perfect Girl’. This upcoming thriller film centres a unique twist on the world of K-Pop. SIYOON has already established herself as a top-tier singer, rapper, and performer. Now she is ready to add acting to her long list of skills.

‘Perfect Girl’ is an upcoming movie focusing on a group of idol trainees undergoing intense competition to debut as K-Pop stars. The film will focus on the anxieties, desires, and mysterious incidents that occur on their journey to debuting as a new supergroup. The screenplay was helmed by Lynn Q. Yu, who was featured on Hollywood’s 2023 Black List. Hong Wonki of ZANYBROS is directing the film. He is best known for directing Zombie Hunter, Urban Myths and The Cursed. The film will be produced by Badlands and Thunder Roads Film.

SIYOON joins a star studded cast for this new production. She will be working alongside Adeline Rudolph, who is starring as Kitana in 2026’s Mortal Kombat II movie. In addition, the film also stars Arden Cho, who starred in 2025’s hit Netflix animation ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ as the voice actor for main character Rumi.

SIYOON is renowned for her charisma and stage presence, and will be bringing her emotional expression and immersion to her on-screen debut. SIYOON‘s character will face the inner conflicts between passion for music, anxiety, and unexpected events. SIYOON has also previously worked with ZANYBROS, as they directed Billlie’s music videos for ‘GingaMingaYo (the strange world)’, and ‘Patbingsu‘. This established professional connection is anticipated to bring strong creative synergy between direction and performance.

SIYOON has also taken part in several interesting artist activities throughout 2025. April saw the debut of Billlie’s first subunit, MOON SUA X SIYOON alongside their debut title track ‘SNAP (feat. sokodomo)‘, which charted high on the iTunes K-Pop charts in 10 countries.

This week, the subunit collaborated with labelmates ARrC for the track ‘WoW (Way of Winning) (with MOON SUA X SIYOON), from their new single album ‘CTRL+ALT+SKIID’. SIYOON also helped participate in the creative process behind the track, assisting with the writing of the lyrics.

Further to this, Billlie appeared as a full group in the debut episode of Apple TV+’s KPOPPED. In this show, the members worked alongside mega stars Megan Thee Stallion and Patti LaBelle to reimagine their hit songs in a K-Pop Style. This brought the members further recognition on the global stage.

Who are Billlie?

Billlie are a seven-member K-Pop girl group under MYSTIC STORY. The group is comprised of members SIYOON, SHEON, TSUKI, MOON SUA, HARAM, SUHYEON, and HARUNA. Their group name is key to their identity. The group’s message revolves around embracing our hidden ‘B-side’, the inner identity that everyone holds within themselves.

Billlie made their debut on November 10th 2021, with the release of their debut EP, the Billage of perception: chapter one. The title track for this album, ‘RING X RING’ , was produced by Lee Minsu and Kim Eana, renowned K-Pop hitmakers. This song kickstarted the group’s extensive and unique lore focused on the mysterious circumstances revolving around the disappearance of a girl named Billie Love in their village.

2022 saw the release of two further mini-aIbums from the group: ‘the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one’ and ‘the Billage of perception: chapter two’ which both built upon their previous lore and concepts. In March of 2023, the group released ‘the Billage of perception: chapter three’, which was nominated as Best K-Pop Album at the 21st Korean Music Awards. In February 2024, the group made their Japanese debut with their first Japanese release, ‘Knock-on Effect’ with title track

n 2022, the group released two mini-albums, the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one and the Billage of perception: chapter two, to expand on their uniquely creative storytelling. Their fourth mini-album which was released in March 2023, the Billage of perception: chapter three, was also nominated for the Best K-pop Album at the 21st Korean Music Awards. In February 2024, Billlie debuted in Japan with their first Japanese mini-album, Knock-on Effect, with title track ‘DOMINO ~ butterfly effect’.

October of 2024 saw the release of Billlie’s fifth mini-album, ‘appendix: Of All We Have Lost’. Pre-release track ‘trampoline’ gained popularity for it’s bouncy and refreshing sound, and title track ‘remembrance candy’ was penned by K-Pop veteran IU. This EP further helped to solidify Billlie’s discography with new and refreshing sounds.

Billlie also hosted their first world tour, ‘Our FLOWERLD (Belllie’ve You)‘ in March of 2025. This tour took the group to 31 cities within Asia, Oceania, the Americas and Europe. Further to this, the group made waves through their appearance on Apple TV+’s KPOPPED, performing special collaborative versions of ‘Lady Marmalade‘ with Patti LaBelle, and ‘Savage’ with Megan Thee Stallion.
