[NEWS] ARrC Release ‘CTRL+ALT+SKIID’ with MOON SUA X SIYOON from Billlie

Today, November 3rd, 2025, saw the release of ARrC’s latest single album, ‘CTRL+ALT+SKIID’ on all music platforms.

MYSTIC STORY’s boy group ARrC has unveiled their new single album, ‘CTRL+ALT+SKIID’! This album consists of 2 tracks. The title track, ‘SKIID‘ was first teased during the promotions of their recent mini-album, HOPE. The second track, titled ‘WoW (Way of Winning)’ features members MOON SUA and SIYOON of their sister girl group, Billlie. Both members made a splash earlier this year with the release of their unit single, ‘Snap‘.

Collaborations are at the very core of K-Pop. From special stages, to shared creative visions, they bring the genre to new heights. Speaking on the direct impacts of collaboration, HYUNMIN of ARrC stated: “This collaboration went beyond just working together—it was a time that inspired me greatly musically.” 

The title track, ‘SKIID’ premieres a new rhythmic style coined as the ‘SKIID rhythm’. This involves the placement of a unique upbeat on the snare within a 4/4 rhythm. Upon first listen, the musical arrangement of the track may seem minimal, but sounds are purposefully selected and structured to create a catchy, unique and layered sonic palette. The concept of the song revolves around the lived reality of teenagers, using an analogy of the digital world to illustrate it’s point. Many teenagers feel trapped in ‘errors’ where they can feel trapped in the loop of competition, exams and helplessness. Throughout the song these concepts are expanded upon through the use of computer-based language including ‘system down’ and ‘404’ (the classic error message).

The title itself also holds a deeper meaning. ‘Skiid’ is derivative of the word ‘skid’ which implies a slip, smear, or loop. The extra ‘i’ is ARrC’s unique twist on the concept. Many of us use the keyboard shortcut ‘CTRL+ALT+DEL’ to help manage tasks, end processes and keep our systems running smoothly. By replacing the ‘DEL’ with ‘SKIID’, ARrC aim to create their own style of reboot. The lyrics are hopeful, encouraging listeners to ‘turn it back on’ and ‘reboot everything’. When life can feel like a loop, and our systems become overloaded, we keep rebooting and continue living towards a greater future.

The second track, ‘WoW (Way of Winning)’ is a collaborative track with members MOON SUA X SIYOON of Billlie. This track incorporates elements of the UK garage genre within a pop-house dance framework. Akin to the title track, the structure is simplistic and minimal. This helps all of the individual layers of the track truly pop out, creating an interesting listening experience that draws the listener in.

Building on the prior track’s concept, the lyrics urge listeners to ‘Restart’ instead of choosing ‘Game Over’. Lyrics for the track include the line ‘an anti-climax with no finish line’ (indicating a loop without resolution) and ‘Game Over ain’t over’ implying that, in the style of a video game, we can change our approach when a strategy doesn’t work. Linking back into the youthful concept, while many teenagers may feel pushed forward without clear answers, it is our resilience and humour that keeps us going.

This track was also an amazing opportunity for ARrC to work alongside their labelmates from Billlie. ANDY of ARrC reflected on the personal impact of this collaboration: “Working with MOON SUA and SIYOON was a meaningful experience, where I learned how to truly enjoy performing on stage.“

Billlie members MOON SUA and SIYOON not only participated vocals to the track but also helped to work on the lyrics. MOON SUA spoke about her drive to create and learn from the experience: “As musicians who love music, it was a great experience to share this creative journey together. I hope that our collaboration on ‘WoW (Way of Winning)’ serves as a meaningful opportunity for growth for all of us.”

Likewise, SIYOON reflected on the mutual inspiration that ARrC and Billlie share, and how she feels this may resonate with a wider audience: “Inspired by ARrC’s passion, I really enjoyed recording and working on this track. It’s a song where different generations and emotions naturally come together, and I hope many people will listen and connect with it.”

For fans looking to purchase this new single album, three versions are available, namely CTRL, ALT, and SKIID, with each version coming in two formats. The first format is a ‘platform album’ which is compact, containing a QR code that allows fans to stream the album through the EVER MUSIC app, and is bundled with collectible photocards. The other format is the ‘beauty album’. These were produced alongside global K-beauty platform JOLSE and beauty brand KEYTH. These contain various unique items, including a hand cream.

ARrC have had an incredible 2025. Recently, they were guest performers on the Vietnamese audition program, Show It All. This program is produced by Vietnam’s largest media group, YeaH1, and premiered on October 4th on the TV channel VTV3. As a multi-national group, this held particular significance for ARrC. This is because one of their members, KIEN, is Vietnamese. ARrC also won the awards for Most Anticipated Male Rookie Idol at the Korea First Brand Awards 2025, and the Male Idol of the Year – Rising Star award at the 2025 Brand of the Year Awards, as voted by the Vietnamese audience. This shows the group’s popularity within Vietnam.

Where to next? Following the release of their new single album, ARrC will continue their global outreach within Asia and the rest of the world throughout the rest of 2025. August saw them visiting Indonesia to perform on national TV shows. These included Brownis on Trans TV and Inbox Nite on SCTV, performances at local schools, and a big collaboration with Asian digital character IP Karafuru. In September, they also held their first Japanese fan meeting in Tokyo, titled 2025 THE 1ST FAN MEETING IN JAPAN ‘We ARrC: We Awesome’.

Who is ARrC?

ARrC are the first ever boy group under MYSTIC STORY. The seven-member group comprises of members ANDY, CHOI HAN, DOHA, HYUNMIN, JIBEEN, KIEN, and RIOTO. Their name is an acronym meaning ‘Always Remember the real Connection’. Connection is the focus of the group’s message, emphasising it’s importance regardless of any boundaries, differences and distances.

WHO ARE MOON SUA x SIYOON?

MOON SUA X SIYOON (Billlie) are a duo subunit of MYSTIC STORY’s girl group Billlie who debuted on the 7th of April 2025 with their digital single “SNAP (feat. sokodomo).”

The combination of members MOON SUA and SIYOON created a strong image. As the group’s main rappers, they were notorious for both their powerful stages and commanding stage presence.

‘SNAP (feat. sokodomo)’ showcases both member’s musical identities to create something unique. Through a stylish blend of rhythm, rap sections, vocals, and high energy performance, they are elevated above typical idol acts. In this way, both members don’t just harmonise together, they build on each other’s strengths to become something even greater.
