J-Pop fans, get excited! Today, August 19th 2025, Avex Entertainment’s boy group, ‘ONE OR EIGHT’ announced their new single on their official X and Instagram accounts.

On August 17th 2025, ONE OR EIGHT’s official X and Instagram accounts posted a video teaser of an apple engraved with the title of their new single ‘Young & Reckless‘!

This was followed up with another short clip posted on their Instagram on August 18th 2025, simply showing fruit falling from a tree – further building on the revealed concept.

However, the biggest news was revealed today on the group’s official X accounts – the new single is releasing on August 29th. This was accompanied by a further exciting announcement. This new single is simply the first chapter in the group’s ‘Anthem of Challenge‘, with the second chapter, ‘BET YOUR LIFE‘ coming soon!

It looks like 1DERZ will have a lot to look forward to in the coming months!

ONE OR EIGHT (一か八か), sometimes written as 1OR8, is an 8-member Japanese boy group under Avex Trax. The group’s name is a reference to a Japanese phrase that means ‘All or Nothing’. The group had an extensive trainee programme, as the members were selected through the ‘WARPs DIG – Battle Audition Project’. Once this concluded, and members were announced, the group trained together for a full year before making their debut.

The final lineup consists of members Mizuki, Souma, Reia, Tsubasa, Ryota, Takeru, Yuga, and Neo. Their pre-debut release was with the song ‘KAWASAKI‘ on June 20th, 2024. This was followed up with their official debut track ‘Don’t Tell Nobody‘ on August 16th, 2024.

Their most recent release was ‘365‘ on June 17th, 2025. This song is a bit more laid back than their previous releases, showcasing the member’s smooth vocals, synchronised dances and their signature charm.
