[NEWS] ARrC Amaze Indonesian Fans With ‘awesome’ Performances

If there’s two things I love the most in K-Pop, it’s the creativity shown in the genre, and the passionate global communities supporting their favourite idol groups and soloists.

With this in mind, one company immediately comes to mind when I think of unique ideas and concepts. MYSTIC STORY house two incredible groups that show endless potential. Billlie showcase deeply interconnected lore and stories, supported by incredible vocals and performances that help carve their own unique niche in a heavily saturated space. Similarly, MYSTIC STORY’s first boy group, ARrC, are already making waves with their skills, catchy songs and well-produced music videos.

After wrapping up Korean promotions for their third mini-album, ‘HOPE‘, ARrC travelled to Indonesia for a series of fun promotional events.

Firstly, on August 19th and 22nd, they visited multiple schools in Jakarta to perform songs for the students. Among the promoted tracks were their new title track ‘awesome‘, and their 2nd EP’s title track, ‘nu kidz‘. These performances instantly captivated new audiences with energetic performances and memorable songs. On one occasion, one of the school dance clubs showcased their own performance of ‘awesome‘ before ARrC‘s performances, showcasing the continual growth of Korean music amongst international audiences.

Their social media pages went wild after these performances. The group’s ‘awesome‘ challenge video with the Indonesian students reached over 200,000 views and 40,000 likes in a short period of time.

In addition to this, ARrC also announced a collaboration with the brand Karafuru, a hugely popular Asian digital character IP, to create a special visualizer for their new song. This fused together the creative aesthetics of Karafuru with ARrC’s playful concepts to great effect.

After the school events, ARrC then hosted a special event called ‘awesome Fest’ inside a major shopping mall. This event consisted of a photo booth, special fan sign, a collaborative Karafuru pop-up store, and live performances. As part of this special event, the members all dressed in traditional Indonesian Batik attire and greeted fans using the local language. As a multi-national group, ARrC are keenly aware of the importance of each unique culture and language. Speaking on this, member ANDY stated “Despite the language barrier, the warm smiles and greetings from Indonesian fans moved us deeply.”

ARrC also took part in many different media opportunities during their visit. They guested on a culture and arts podcast on the Indonesian platform OPPAL, and visited the Jakarta TikTok offices. In total, more than 30 local media outlets and influencers covered and promoted the group’s activities. This shows ARrC’s promise and outreach within the Indonesian entertainment industry.

Proof is in the numbers – following this series of events, ARrC’s Google Trends searches soared across Indonesia, Brazil, and Vietnam, and significant growth across their social media profiles. ARrC are rapidly cementing their place as a 5th Generation boy group to watch and as a Gen Z global icon.

Over the next few weeks, fans have much more to look forward to from ARrC. On September 7th, ARrC will host their ‘2025 1ST FAN MEETING IN JAPAN: We ARrC, We Awesome‘ in Tokyo, further expanding their global outreach.

ABOUT ARrC:

MYSTIC STORY’s first boy group, ARrC have arrived ready to change up the K-Pop scene! The seven-member group is as multi-national as it’s promotional strategy. The group consists of members ANDY (Japanese-American), CHOI HAN (Korean), DOHA (Korean), HYUNMIN (Korean), JIBEEN (Korean-Brazilian), KIEN (Vietnamese) and RIOTO (Japanese). ARrC made their debut on August 19th, 2024 with their first mini album, AR^C, with title track ‘S&S (sour and sweet);. This debut was successful, granting them over 100 million social media content views within the first fortnight after release. They also achieved more than nine million searches on Weibo, China’s largest social media platform.

ARrC have also achieved several notable awards. In January 2025, they received the Rising Male Idol Award at the Korea First Brand Awards 2025, supported by votes from Vietnamese fans. At the Brand Customer Loyalty Awards 2025, they won Rising Idol of the Year. To round out the month, they also attended KCON JAPAN 2025 to share the stage with Japanese fans as they continued to grow their international audiences.
